With a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and more than 20 years of cross-domain experience – including mobile applications, IT consulting, flight simulation, aerospace, and consumer electronics – Tiani brings a complexity-informed lens to product design and systemic change. She co-developed, with Dr. Jabe Bloom and Michael Woodley, a framework for observability in socio-technical systems – work grounded in praxis, the integration of theory and practice to generate new knowledge and enduring impact.
Tiani is the founder of Proper Science, Ltd., a consultancy that applies the principles of complex adaptive systems to practical challenges in leadership, strategy, and organizational effectiveness. Her work emphasizes contextual understanding, iterative improvement, and phronesis – practical wisdom in navigating complexity. She is also an international speaker.
