For the third year running, we delved into the complexities of how engineering leaders are measuring the performance of their teams. We found that picking the right metrics is still challenging for a majority of engineering leaders, and DORA metrics haven’t become the industry standard framework many will have hoped for.

We also found that the anxiety caused by the rise of generative AI coding tools has pushed upskilling up the agenda for many leaders, with prompting and managing agents jumping to the top of the wish list when it comes to in-demand skills.
