In a perfect world, you’ll have an interview process where you can push for answers to make sure there’s a good fit and that you know what you’re getting yourself into. I’ve never had issues asking for skip-level conversations (e.g. with your manager’s manager) or additional meetings with teammates or product managers at this stage.
